Overview:

The LYD 5 Nearfield 5" Speaker Monitor from Dynaudio Acoustics is an ideal fit for smaller setups and home studios. It uses lightweight aluminum wire and voice coils in its handmade drive units, along with a Class-D amplifier with a 96 kHz / 24-bit signal path and DSP to provide improved audio performance.

The aluminum voice coil and wire are low mass, so its transient response is quick and accurate. The diaphragm and dust cap are molded in one piece with Magnesium Silicate Polymer. Furthermore, the speaker features switches for bass extension, monitor position, and sound-balance settings.
